The right school for our 2 daughters
We have 2 daughters (4 and 7y old), and before Imagine, they were for 1 year in British College La Canyada. Where their experience was okay, but not great. The little one, 3y at the time struggle to adjust, and the school was not very flexible with the schedule (even though we were willing to come pick her up at whatever time they said) and the 7y old found it to competitive between their peers (start of the week programs, points systems, etc). So we took the decision to move them and Imagine seems a much better fit. Being a montessori school, their classes are combining 3 years (3-6y olds together, 6-9y old together). The focus is on each kid progressing on their own pace, and being better than last week, last month, last semester. They are on a "competition" with themselves, and i think that is a better approach. Kids can focus on activities that they have more interests on, while still maintaining the british curicullum and stages. In an era of AI controlling soon a lot of things, I believe the education of kids should be more focused on the social part and I believe Imagine does a very good job at that. The management is great so far, communication very good and the school campus is very sustainable, Air quality systems throughout the school, organic food, etc. Also we like a lot the no phone policy of the school. Totally recommend this school.
