⭐ (1/5 stars) I am a parent of my child, i asked the friends of my child summarize those things that they told me, and i write some important things that i need to talk about. Unfortunately, my time here has been deeply disappointing for several serious reasons. 1. Racial Discrimination: Racial discrimination at this school is a serious and visible problem. Students openly discriminate against people from other countries, and troublingly, this attitude also extends to members of the leadership team, including the headteacher. When parents raise concerns and give feedback, principals and teachers frequently fail to respond or take any meaningful action. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. 2. Poor Canteen Conditions: The food in the school canteen is not only unappetizing but sometimes genuinely concerning. The meals can be confusing and poorly prepared, and there have even been incidents of expired food being served. Students have also found hair and foreign objects in their meals. This raises serious food safety and hygiene questions that the school has not adequately addressed. 3. Mandatory School Bags of Very Poor Quality: The school requires students to carry official school bags, which would be fine in principle—except the quality is extremely poor. The bags break after being carried only a few times, or simply from holding a few heavy books. Requiring students to purchase and use such low-quality products feels unfair and wasteful. 4. Unfair and Potentially Dangerous Phone Policy: The school's mobile phone policy is inconsistent and, at times, dangerous. While students are generally not allowed to bring phones, enforcement is uneven: some students secretly play on their phones in class instead of handing them in. In one deeply upsetting incident, my mother messaged me to tell me my grandmother had just passed away. I was devastated—yet students who were secretly using their phones reported me to the teacher for using mine. Rather than showing any compassion, the school treated me as a rule-breaker during a moment of grief. Worse, confiscating phones can put students in real danger. During the last red-alert rainstorm, students who had handed their phones to teachers could not receive calls from their parents asking them to come home, and some students ended up trapped at school. A policy that separates children from their families during an emergency is not just inconvenient—it is unsafe. Conclusion: Overall, I do not like this school. The combination of unaddressed discrimination, poor food safety, low-quality mandatory equipment, and a phone policy that lacks both fairness and basic safety awareness makes for a deeply unsatisfactory experience. I hope the school takes these concerns seriously and makes real changes for the sake of its students.
